Data Planning and Research Services
The Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE) complies with all federal and state laws, as well as regulations and procedures as established by the Executive Department and the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS). The Commissioner develops procedures for the implementation of this policy which applies to the Central Office and the technical college system.
The Data, Planning, and Research Services unit provides a variety of data and research services in support of decision-making by TCSG; the leadership and staff of the technical college system and adult literacy providers associated with the Department; other agencies of state government; and other public and private agencies and organizations through its three subunits, the Data Center, Planning, and Research.
