ROADTRIP
The Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education, in association with the national Stay-in-School initiative, presents a twelve-episode, 30-minute television series: "Road Trip."
Thirty-four technical colleges and three Board of Regents colleges with technical divisions are featured in the series. Viewers join the counselors and students as they hit the road and learn about the technical colleges and their most popular, ground-breaking programs.
To create "Road Trip" the cameras of West Georgia Technical College's video production studio visited all 37 campuses and spoke to students, instructors, administrators and community leaders about the importance of staying in school and the rewards of a college education. Featured among the wide variety of college courses are those in the up-and-coming, high-demand fields of health care, biotechnology, aerospace, energy and the environment, agribusiness, and transportation.
